You don’t have to be “perfect” or “healed” to connect with your highest self, because you already are your highest self. The idea that you are separate from them, or that they are a perfected future version of you, is an illusion. Your highest self is not distant, nor are they limited by your wounds, your fears, or your “messy” emotions. They are the purest expression of your consciousness, omnipresent and limitless, always connected to you.

Do my wounds disconnect me from my highest self?

Many teachings promote the fallacy that you must be fully healed before you can embody your highest self, leading to endless cycles of striving and feeling unworthy. However, your highest self is not confined to some spiritual aesthetic. They do not go away if you are angry, confused, or having a tough day. In fact, these are precisely the moments when your highest self is absolutely present, offering unconditional love that never wavers. I’ve experienced hearing a constant high-pitched ringing as my recalibrated frequency, yet it doesn’t stop even when I’m releasing dense emotions like anger or grief. My coherence remains unbroken because my connection to my highest self is impossible to disrupt.

How do I live as my highest self, right now?

Embodiment is not about becoming, but about remembering and allowing. Your highest self is not a goal to attain; it is a state of being that you activate by choosing to exist from that level of awareness now. Stop believing you need to evolve or ascend to reach them. Acknowledge that even in your pain, your highest self is present and a part of you. They are the orchestrator of your reality, not an external force. When you realize that you are the universe and your highest self, you stop waiting for permission and start commanding your reality.
